A new alliance between Carlson Software Inc. and HydroCAD Software Solutions, LLC, to take advantage of the strengths of both companies and to benefit both companies' customers was recently revealed at the Carlson Silver Anniversary User Conference. HydroCAD is a Computer Aided Design tool used by civil engineers for modeling stormwater runoff.

The CG Division of Carlson Software announces the release of CG Survey 6.1. CG
Survey 6.1 is built on the AutoCAD ® engine and is compatible with AutoCAD
drawing formats up to and including AutoCAD 2002. CG Survey 6.1 includes
the well-known CG Raw Editor and Processor with its “auto-recognition” of
sets and diverse survey methods. The new SurvNet Network Least Squares
program, with calculation of error ellipses, is provided at no extra charge (a
$500 value if purchased separately). CG Survey 6.1 includes tools to produce
topographic maps and create profiles and sections in addition to the full complement
of COGO and drafting functions. Many new commands such as Extend by Distance,
Join Nearest, Twist Screen and other utilities have been ported to CG Survey
6.1 from Carlson SurvCADD.
CG Survey 6.1 is priced at $1795.
Upgrades to CG Survey 6.1 are priced as follows, with special pricing until January
15, 2004: CG Intellicad (CG Windows) to CG Survey 6.1: $495 until 1-15-2004
then $795. CG DOS to CG Survey 6.1: $1295 until 1-15-2004 then full price at
$1795. |
